ORA-01403 when accessing table SAPUSER

Dear Experts,

I am installing SAP R/3 4.7 on HP-UX 11.23 on IA64 Processor with Oracle 9i Database. We have successfully completed the CI installation. We are step database load in Database instance installation. All the jobs are getting terminated with below error.

Output of LISTENER and R3trans -d is perfect. The owner of table SAPUSER is OPS$SBXADM. Please, advise how to resolve this issue.

Hello Kedar,

Could you please copy paste the contents of the log file : /tmp/sapinst_instdir/R3E47X2/SYSTEM/ABAP/ORA/NUC/DB/SAPTTREE.log

What is your SAP Kernel Patch level?

Also Check the OSS Note: Note 837410 - Trace messages: "failed to free memory"

Also the Kernel Patch level probably is 21 as the dvds are very old.

HI,

ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 255 - see DBWR trace file
ORA-01110: data file 255: '/oracle/SBX/sapdata3/temp_1/temp.data1'

Sound temp file corruption for me .

select * from dba_temp_files; .

If error is same it confirms Temp file is corrupted.

In this case you can follow procedure to assign new temp tablespace

You were absolutely right. After restoring the temp.data1, my problem got resolved. We were stucked due to space issue ob sapdata3. So while extending it, UNIX team had moved its contents to sapdata15. After extending sapdata3, the contents were not copied to it. We realised it today and resolved it.

Hi,

if you're still stuck, try to extend tablespace psapsbx620 as ddl statement to create unique indexhas failed.

As user orasbx execute sqlplus and extend the tablespace.
