Barcode printing on EPSON LQ 1150+

Hello All,

We are trying to print barcode in a smartform on a dot-matrix printerEpson LQ 1150+. We are using SAPWIN as output device type.

System barcode has been created in SE73 and same has been added in printer barcode in same tcode.

We are able to print the form on HP laserjet printer using the same device type i.e. SAPWIN. But while printing on this EPSON printer, the printer gets stuck up when it comes to the barcode printing.

has anybody faced similar issue before. Could you please help me to resolve this.

Is it possible to print barcode through SAP on this dot-matrix printer in first place?

Hi ,

Kindly check this SAP Note for device types suitable for printers .

then kindly check the device drivers for barcode printing is installed for the printer . If not installed , then kindly install the barcode printing drivers in the printer !!

In SPAD, select device type as Epson Printer for Printer definition.

Hi Sunny,

I already have done the same. But it does not help. Infact In SAP note these device types for epson are not supported for barcoding. But the SAPWIN is supported.
