SAP_APPLICATION_STAT_COLLECTOR Process Hangs

Dear All ,

We have

Windows 2003 OS

Oracle 10.2

While regular background job SAP_APPLICATION_STAT_COLLECTOR gets hangs,

and it hangs abruptly(Most of the time it works perfectly and takes 15-20 Sec).In sm 50 process RSHOST1M Report is continusly running for more than 5000 Sec.

In SM37 SAP_APPLICATION_STAT_COLLECTOR is showing active.

Detail display in SM50 while refresh the Database is not updating .It is always show Table MONI.

Please suggest what i need to do

Hi,

Hope your database stats are up to date, try upgrading to patch level 10.2.0.4.0.

Take you DBA Team help, if you have. You can also try raising message with SAP.

Please install patchcollection 18 as per note 871735:

/Oracle/Oracle 32-Bit/Oracle 10.2.0. 32-Bit/Oracle 10.2.0.2/

NT_I386/10202_Patch18_WINNT.zip

Or 64 bit if you have 64 bit.

and set the parameters as per 830576 .
