SAP GRC 5.3 with Netweaver 7.1

Hi expert,

I have SAP GRC Access 5.3 SP13 instance which is running on Netweaver 7.0, but we also want to install Process Control and Risk Management in the same server, I understand that PR and RM (in latest versions) can only run on NW 7.1. I wanted to know if is possible do a upgrade to NW 7.1 without reinstalling Access Control instance?

Can Access Control run under NW 7.01? In this case, iIs it possible to make a NW upgrade from v7.0 to v7.01 without losing my Access Controls installation, or would it be necessary to make a full reinstallation? Thanks !

Hi,

In order to install PC/RM 3.0, you need to have ABAP and Java stack of netweaver 7.01 version SPS 5 or more. But GRC 5.3 that you have installed is running on Java stack only. so, You need to install a separate dual stack system with 7.01 version and patch level SP5 or more.
