EIC ERP - mail alerts for when an activity is assigned to a processor team?

Does anyone use email alerts to notify a processor team to let them know a activity has been assigned to thier team?

How did you accomplish?

We are using SAP EIC - ERP version.

This is pretty common as we have done this at all our EIC clients. We use a custom badi to identfiy the reassignments and trigger an email to the agent's personal email account.
