Adding or deleting components to PP/DS orders

I am using APO PP/DS release 7.

Is it possible to add or delete components to individual PP/DS orders (without changing the general component data which is held in the PDS)?

it is possible to add components manually to a planned order in the process order view of APO.

you just enter product and quantity in the requirement or product receipts table. to display the tables double click on the nodes of the order tree.

We've a reqt to be able to change/delete-add a comp to the prod (not released) in APO n I'm not able to find a way to do the same. Tried via the Product view, not successful..Can u help?? Also, would like to know the custom process u developed.

Hi APO,

This is very much possible. we have a custom button in DS planning Board which we use to change any attribute of the planned order. You can do the same in product view as well.

Hi,

I dont think it is possible because the orders are in line with the

PDS structure and changing the order will check the PDS master

data and throws errors and order will not be saved in system.

Moreover, change in PDS cannot be directly done in APO as such.
