How to find idoc number

Hi all,

My team member has created sales order from idoc now i would like to find the idoc number from sales order [Its inbound Idoc] how to do it please tell me.

Idoc number not configured for sales order fields

In transaction WE09 give the sale order number in the field "for Value" you'll get the idoc number for the given sale order.

You may find relevant inbound IDOC from the sales order itself.

You can display sales order using VA03 transaction; assuming you are on 4.6C version there should be a small 'icon' next to the title of the overview screen. If you click on that you should see an option called 'Relationships' or 'Display Relationships'. Once you select that option a separate pop-up will appear with relevant IDOC number.

I think you can check the T-code WE02 to trace out the IDOC number which created the Sales Order.

The status table has records that contain IDoc number and application document number. Query EDIDS, looking for your sales order number in the field called Parameter 2 (STAPA2).
