Hi ,

I am working with Visual Studio 2008 and Dot Net version 3.5 .

I failed to install SAP .Net Connector 2.0

even after installing .Net 1.1.4332 - it fails

error msg >> you must first install visual studio 7.1 integrated development environment IDE

I want -

SAP.Connector.DLL, SAP.Connector.Rfc.DLL, and LIBRFC32.DLL and also where to copy them .

hi ,

1) if you want to use SAp dot net connector 2.0 and .net 7.1 or 3.5 you have to create application first in 2003 .net

as you cannot create direct application using 2005 or 2008 .net .

2) after creating application you have to add reference to 2005 or 2008 .net for that application

at that time you have to add reference of sap.connector.rfc.dll and sap.connector.dll

from SAP folder in program files.

which you will find after installing sap dot net connector 2.0

so , i need to install Visual Studio 2003 , and create application in that ?

as same cannot be done in VS 2005/2008 .

Any other work around -which does not involve VS 2003 .

As far as I know, you have to use either VS 2003 (which can still be bought at eBay and other places) or resort to 3rd party products like [Rfc Connector|http://rfcconnector.com/] or [ERP Connect|http://erpconnect.net].
