regarding ie01

hi iam creating an equipment using ie01 iam getting the material number in the contract type but the characteristcs of the material are not being copied to the equipment when it is cretaed is there any way that the characteristics of material were automaticlaly copied to the equipment when it is created

Hi,

Material and equipment are 2 different objects.

So I don't think any standard transaction allow you to fill equipment data with material data.

I think the only way for you to do so would be to use a user-exit.
