Hi,
we are working on SAP(IDOC)>PI>Legacy(file) scenario.
we have completed all the config needed on SAP side.
Configured below mentioned steps on PI side,
1)Created RFC Destination.
2)Created Port in IDX1.
But, facing issues in loading metadata in IDX2.
when i create & provide IDOC type & source port , it gives information message I:000 & nothing happens after that.
wondering , wat might be the issue.
san.
Hi,
This might be an authorization issue as well. Please check if the user that you use in the RFC destination from PI to SAP system has proper authorizations in SAP system to download the metadata to PI. Also please check in we30 in SAP system to see the IDoc is not having any errors.
regards,
francis

Check if you are following the naming convention SAP<SID> e.g. SAPDEV while creating your port in IDX1.
Also make sure the RFC is working.

In your case loading of metadata is not required as its outbound .Automatically it will be updated 1st time IDOC will reach SAP PI.
Only in case you have inbound IDOC communication metadata should be present.

loading the idoc metadata is not compulsory ...try sending the idoc as it is

Hi,
check your port name. is it following naming convention SAPSID,
SID is the system ID from which u r importing idoc metadat. (eg if SID is RR2, then port name should be SAPRR2)
Also check the RFC destination is working fine and all idoc segemnts are activein ECC system
