Assignment of cost elements to CO Version

Hi Friends,

When we go to CJ40, choose a project definition, and version and click on 'cost planning. Here we choose a period, WBS element, and click on 'Primary Cost'. Here I see different cost elements being assigned. I want to know in which transaction / location, these cost elements are assigned in customization?

I know, the version is assigned in the location below:

SPRO - SAP customization - Project System - Costs - Create CO version.

But how the different cost elements are assigned to these versions?

Why don't you share your findings with forum. What you have done is not in the right spirit!.

Hello PSR,

Don't write big words. If you're interested in this issue, just ask, and I'll be more than happy to share what I did.

Here are the steps:

1. Create CO version in SPRO.

2. Set-up cost element group in KAH1.

3. Go to CJR1 / 2 and set-up the planning cost elements with the version you've created in step 1 for a given year against WBS element group and cost element group (step 2).

This is where you can assign different cost elements for cost planning.
