how can i delete user id sap* from os level

Dear Experts,

In my newel installed system I created one client and in that I log in with sap* with pass and after I done client copy but it is terminated with error and after that i log out from that client and again try to log in but message is shows to many failed attempts login is not possible

My question is I donu2019t have any other user id in that newly created client so I try to delete user and password from os level by below command

Delete from <sid>.usr02 where BNAME=u2019sap*u2019 and MANDT=u2019100u2019;

But it shows table or view is not found

What can I do for to delete that user sap*

Hi,

Please try with <table_owner>.usr02 instead. Afterwards check wheter the emergency user is active with the help from note

Hello,

A search in google would have helped you bigtime,anyway the schema id should be SAPSR3 or SAP<SID> or SAPR3.

Indeed... As far as I remember the default schema up to 4.7EE it was SAPR3 after that changed to SAP<SID>

Anyhow, Read the "Rules of Engagement" and search before posting.

Also, there should be many posts about this issue in the forum. Please perform a search in case above does not help.
