Am learning SAP BASIS, could any one suggest how to perform these two activities System monitoring and backup management. i would really feel happy if you give t codes or links which can help me to learn this topic.

Hi,

You can get enough learning materials from SAP's online help (help.sap.com). Letting us know the OS and DB will help us guide u.

As an overview, I'm listing the tcodes used for backup and monitoring.

Using DB13 and DB12 u can schedule a backup and view the logs.

The following are some of the monitoring tcodes:

SM12

SM13

SM21

SP01

ST22

DB02

DB12

ST06N

ST03N
