hi gurus,

I have an issue regarding notification. the issue is the operation department only close the notification means who create the notification that person only close the notification no one else is there any solution. for this give me some needful solution. thanks in advance.

I have given two scenarios in which raised notifications can be closed.

1) Generally Operation department rises the notification ( For ex. Malfunction notification)

it may also close the notification when it is responsible to get the notification completed after ensuring the physical completion of that activity.

2) Generally Operation department rises the notification ( For ex. Malfunction notification)

Maintenance Dept. also close the notification when it is responsible to get the notification completed after ensuring the physical completion of that activity.

Which transaction or function module used ?

in PM (Plant Maintainence) notificaion for example here defect is the one of the notification type . irrespective of the notification type only the user who create the notification he only close. t.code is iw21.
