No Integration Server in SLD

Hello,

I get the below error in ID.

Unable to find associated SLD element for specified class (source element: SAP_XIIntegrationServer, [CreationClassName, SAP_XIIntegrationServer, string, Name, is.00.<server>, string], target element class: SAP_BusinessSystem)

On investigation, I found that we do not have Integration Server assigned to Business system.

I do have the following entry in SXMB_ADM

Role of Business System Integration Server

Corresponding Integ. Server http://<server>:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Also I have the following RFC:

INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI

Target Host <server>

Path Prefix /sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Note: while trying to test this, I got a popup asking to enter password for PIISUSER as its not saved there. Is this OK?

Could someone please direct me on how to fix this.

Thank you.

Hi Radhika,

The issue could be due to the incomplete registration of PI components in SLD.

Please check the Note 1117249 - Incomplete Registration of PI components in SLD

If you are in PI7.1 there is a new SLD self registration wizard available, you can run this wizard from NWA.

Note 1292803 - Configuration Wizard: PI SLD Self Registration

it will re-create your business sytem for integration server.

regards,

francis

Hi Radhika,

Just check if any Service user is locked by any chance. If not then instad of applying the note I think re running the post installtion process would be troucle free and fast option.

You can re run the post installation process from NWA.

Thanks,

Sunil

Hello there,

You may need to apply note #764176. Verify if you have all the six XI components at Technical Systems.

Also, for the use, apply one of the following notes depending on your system:

PI 7.1:

#999962 - PI 7.10: Change passwords of PI service users

XI 7.0

#936093 - XI 7.0: Changing the passwords of XI service users

XI 3.0

#721548 - XI 3.0: Changing the passwords of the XI service users

And check if the property of the XI CPA Service, under NWA, "SLDAcess" is set to true.
