Hi,
We have 3 system landscape in Unix platfrom,
due to small space alloted to the file system in quality server - /usa/sap/trans we have pointed the trans link to other location in the same server through softlink .
we had to restart the quality server last night , after that all directories under that Trans are missing,
and even i could not see any request in the import queue, and get the following error which refreshing the import queue from SAP.

Why did you use a link instead of adding extra space into the filesystem?...

System restart will not remove soft links.
Make sure the path that you have created for soft links is not an NFS file system.
If it is an NFS file system and F/S is not specified in /etc/fstab, we will be loosing mount points after restart.
Ask your unix admin about it. he will be able to guide you.

Hi,
Ensure that TRANSDIR from STMS systems configuration points to the DIR_TRANS variable. Do you have problems to access it from AL11?
