EWA kernel rated yellow (Software configuration)

Hello Coleagues,

Is there any way to get automatically rated in green the kernel check in EWA? We update all kernels every 6 months and we don´t want to have this warning in all the EWA report which are being read by customers.

Thanks in advance for any workaround for avoid this point to be checked an EWA reports!

Hi,

EWA is a global template and not customizablew to customers at all.

But your kernel problem is a well-known theme in many companies. In the past, even the latest available kernel was outdated because of the built-date.

Recently, I have made good experiences by using the stack-kernel (depending on the implemented SP-stack in your systems). Then the rating will not be worse than yellow.

Well, not fine, but you do not have any other chances...

Hi,

EWA is not customizable. You update every six months, but may be SAP's recommendation is to upgrade kernel more often than six months.
