hi,
is there any limit for table entries, because when i create or go for change in the sales order it is throwing an error called
lock table entries.
please help me on this issue.
regards,
balajia
If So, this is not because of table entry limits,
When multiple users are sharing the same screen in change mode or trying to do some modifications, sap will not allow to the multiple users to modify at the same time, hence the table will get locked for the last user.
you can delete/unlock these entries in SM12-
after enter, from menu bar, choose delete all to delete all the locked entries.
Hope it helps.

The lock entries of the table VBAK can be removed from the transaction SM12. In SM12, you can see the respective user id locked for the table.
Your basis guy can help you in releasing the lock
Cheers

Pls check in SM12 for the table VBAK. It will show you who is locking the table. You can release the lock from SM12 and then start creating or changing sales orders.
This happens when somebody enters into a sales order and then leaves the system as such for long time. The GUI will get terminated but the server will be engaged with the database and thats why the table gets locked.
