How to set a defualt value for a filter dynamically.

Hey guys,

I'm trying to create a filter in universe designer on top of an SAP BW query.

I want to create a default value for a filter. I have tried to use the customer exit (the ABAP one) but the default value passed through the query variable does not pass to the universe.

I'm talking about a date field - so the current date suits me well.

Is there a possibility to do that.

Hi,

IF you want to use the current date as default value in a filter, it is not supported by SAP MDX.

The best is to use a user exit fucntion: normally default values in variables are passed to the universe.
