P_ORGIN auth obj with SUBAREA not working

Dear Gurus,

As per my customer needs, I created a new auth obj with personal sub area.

I generated the code using the report RPUACG00, but the old auth obj P_ORGIN does nt work.

Due to this I reverted the changes by executing RPUACG00 with P_ORGIN.

Please let me know how to create a new auth obj with sub area povided the SAP std P_ORGIN is also working.

Regards

Paul

Hello,

Please refer to the SAP help online help at "http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/9e/74ba3bd14a6a6ae10000000a114084/content.htm"

It list all the individual steps of the process. Specially check the value of the Authorization Switches used by you. This can be accessed through transaction OOAC. To use customer specific object, either of AUTSW NNNNN or NNCON need to be set to 1. Similarly to use P_ORGIN, AUTSW ORGIN needs to be set to 1.
