PROJECT SPECIFIC..IMMEDIATE HELP REQUIRED.
I have created few records and got them deleted.
But i want the same MDMID to be generated for the new creating records.
Can we anywhere in MDM 7.1 set the MDMID generation number.
Example
For new created records MDMIDS are 1100,1101.......and then deleted that 2 records
and now i want the new record to be created from 1100.
Canit be possible.
Required help.
It's better if you handle these two Auto ID manuallyin other GUI or tool wherever you require it.
in MDM you can not handle it as can't be consider as practicle idea.
Thanks for understanding.

Hi,
I just want to know why you want such thing.
What is the actual requirement that you want to achieve.
As far as i know i dont think think whatever you said is possible.
But may be achieved by some other way.
Please specify your requirement.

Hi,
if field Type = "Auto Id" and once you delete the record and to regenrate same number is not possible for e.g. let say 100 is records available and Record ID start from 1 to 100 in between you have deleted record ID 45 , 66, 78 it not possible to genrate same ID 45,66,78
Thanks,

Hi Lakshmi.
As far as my understanding, MDM uses many identifiers for identifying the records. Out of which the RecordID (which is shown as a field in the DataManager) once deleted cannot be created with the same number again. This is a uniques key which is generated when a new record is created.
But there is another identifier which is called as Internal ID gets recreated eventhough the record is deleted.
