Route is not populated in Shipment Document.

Hi Gurus,

I have created a Shipment document using VT01N and I have attached the delivery to this shipment document.

The delivery has route populated from sales order based on the config.

Now, even when I do Planning, and check in in SAP shipment document, the route is not populated.

Please help me resolve this.

Hi,

Have you assigned only single delivery or multiple ones? And in case of multiple are the routes the same for them?

Otherwise you can check if there is 'copy routine' maintained for your shipment type. There you can control which fields are copied from delivery document.

SPRO->Logistics Execution->Transportation->Shipments->Define shipment types

Hi,

first of all: what do you want to use the route in the shipping document for? You do not have to have a route.

And otherwise it is as Dominik described it: the copying routine in the shipping document definition copies the route from the deliveries - if they are unique!
