Experts,

We have recently performed a system installation through system copy procedure i.e export and import

We have exported PI QX4 system to a new system PI 7.11 QX1

When i try to access the UME page of the new system(through the URL) im unable to access.

When i check the server0 logs i find the following error in trc file

RfcException:

message: Connect to message server host failed

Connect_PM TYPE=B MSHOST=ngsvawrk217.uk.corporg.net GROUP=SPACE R3NAME=QX4 MSSERV=sapmsQX4 PCS=1

Hi,

You have to make an entry in your services file.(E.g: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\services) giving the IP address of the message server host and the correspondin service name sapmsQX4. You might need to restart the server after that

Thanks.
