Hi Team,

I have installed ECC6 in VMWARE successfully and its working fine.

Now I want to install sap solution manager also in the same virtual machine.

Virtual disk size is 130 GB and after intsalling ECC6 on this free space is 2 GB .

1. Now I want to extend the virtual disk size to 200 GB.

2. What are the settings we have to consider while installing the Solution manager on this.

What all are the prerequisite to be taken care while installing the solution manager on VMWARE.

I using Dell Laptop with 4GB ram, 320 GM hardisk.

Regards,

Shyjith

ERP 6.0 needs, including the database, at least 8 GB RAM.

SolMan also need at least 8 GB to be able to work with it.

If you read the installation guides attentively you'll see that alone for the Java instance 2 GB of heap are exclusively needed, otherwise your machine will just swap.

Neither ERP nor SolMan are meant to be installed on "Laptops".
