Hi Sri Kanth,

Even I had opsted this kinda question some time back..I wanted to capture the IDoc number.

Do you have one specific constant IDoc number that you want to send in your data?...you can do that easily by mapping...

Or do you want to send the IDoc number which has been given by the source system..?

HI,

If you are asking that you need to generate an IDoc containing the same data that your IDoc has then you can just do this through WE19.

But the new IDoc will have a new IDoc number generated.

Srikanth,

What actually is your requirement? If you want to use an IDOC genearted earlier, in We19, give the IDOC no against the EXISTING IDOC.

if you want to copy your IDOC schema to an Excel Sheet, take a look at this blog,

Hi Sri,

A few questions:

1. Where is this IDoc number coming from?

2. What do you actually mean when you say that you want to copy it to a new IDoc?

The IDoc number shown in your R/3 is generated automatically by the R/3 itself.

One alternate option would be to pass the IDoc number through one of the fields of the IDoc.
