Enhancement Package implementation

Dear friends

We are using SAP ECC 6.0 without JAVA on unix server

Our basis and ABAP sp level is 20.Now I want to implement Enhancement Package 4 .

What the pre-request of implement Enhancement .?

Can we implement Enhancement package 4 directly Or I will do in sequense like ABAP support pack.

Its first time I got the opertuninty to implement Enhancement Package .

Hi,

Apart from the above suggested steps, check How to install EHP4 and Technical FAQ for EHP4 guides on http://service.sap.com/erp-ehp.

Also, make sure that you maintain equivalence support pack level while you do the upgrade.

Hi,

In order to implement EhP4 in ur landscape u r supposed to have SolMan with EhP1. This is required for creating the stack xml. The creation of stack xml using the MoPZ in SolMan will let u know what are all the patches required for ur EhP4 update.

As Eric mentioned, u need to have SPS16 atleast to start with the EhP update. Once u have reached this stage, the EhP Installer will take u through the process step by step. make sure that u have gone through the EhP guides and relevant notes atleast once. Also make sure that u fulfil the space requirements for this update process.

you will get all the necessary information from that link.

1. prepare to do a lot of reading.

2. installing EHP4 is very close to a full-fledge upgrade, so, test accordingly

3. you need SPS16 as a minimum to start out, anyways, the PREPARE module will tell you that.
