java hangs when restarting ServletExec-xMII

Sometimes to correct a systems issue I have to cycle the ServletExec-xMII service. When I do, java sometimes hangs and I have to stop the java process. Then when I bring ServletExec back online, java wonu2019t start back. Rebooting the server is the only way Iu2019ve found to fix the problem. Any advice? Do others experience this?

Xmii version: 11.5.6 b73

Java version: j2sdk1.4.2_18

OS: server 2003 R2

Hello,

Any errors in cms log file?

Please check your system/application log files in control panel (Administrative Tools --> Event Viewer) for any errors when this happens.

And also make sure you have enough disk space for Java temp files
