UAR Manager Review

Hi together,

if I take the option MANAGER for reviewers in the configuration CUP-CONFIGURATION-UAR-OPTION. The Manager isn't assigned in the Request Review. And I have to assign the manager manual.

Whats the problem?

If I generate review request with option ROLEOWNER, everything works fine.

Hi Alexa,

when you define your reviewers as manager than manager become the approver for stage reviewer in the the workflow.

Users manager information will be fetched from the LDAP.

If you want role Owner to be approvers that define as role Owner as reviewers.

Hi,

oh I thought that the managers fetched by the request formular and not by the LDAP. We have the probleme, that we cannot fetched the managers from the LDAP because of different rank specifics. So we use the managerID, which is manual given by creating a normal user request in CUP.

Alexa,

CUP will pick up the manager information from the 'User Details Data Source', you have configured. If the manager information doesn't exist or CUP can not pick it up then the UAR request will not have manager listed.
