External activity deletion error

Hi,

I am having a problem in deleting externa services associated with control key PS04.

I have created PR thru CJ20N and pulled service from contract.Now BOQ contract is updated.How can I delete these service

I m trying to delete PR thru me52n but Delete icon is not visible.

kindly advice at the earliest.

You can delete the PR through CJ20N / Cj02 / CN22 only, the PRs generated at the activity level of a project are not editable in ME52N.

Go to the activity delete the service numbers and then the activities, but please be noted that, it must not have converted to PO, if so delete the PO first.

Thanks for your quick response, activities are partially confirmed this error is generating while deleting PR.

How come the ext activity is confirmed partially? It means that you have created the PO for the PR??

What is the exact error message you are getting? please share the error message with the number. Also explain what you have done and what you are trying to do. This will help us to provide a proper solution for you.

Following is the error message,

System status PCNF is active (NWA 4000040 0683)

Message no. BS013

Diagnosis

Object NWA 4000040 0683 has system status PCNF (Partially confirmed). According to this status, transaction 'Delete operation' is not allowed.

Procedure

You can only carry out the requested function if this is allowed according to the status of the object.

It means that you have created the PO for the PR??

Also explain what you have done and what you are trying to do.

and also you must have created a service entry sheet for the PO, it seems.

Dear praveen thank you very much for your kind co-operation,

1. Actually i have created internal activity and then i i pulled services from the outline agreements ok.

2.PR is raised for services i.e service PR

3.Contract dept ammended the BOQ Contract rite.

4.What i want to do is delete all corresponding PR generated before ammendment.

What I Did is:

1.Deconfirmed all activities using CN29

2.Selected respective WBS

3.Go to activity overview

4.Started deleting externall processed objects.

5.What I am observing is that activity number is getting deleted while deleting the external services.

6.What I want is that activities must not get deleted I want to delete PR only

7.It displays deleted in me53n while viewing the PR but I dont want to delete activity.

Your statement is really contradictory

You are saying you have created an internal activity with the OLA assigned,

Again saying that you are trying to delete the external activity.

can you please be clarified your self, what you are doing?

And for deleting the PR, you can simply delete the Service number line items at the external activities,

select the External activity, click on Detail button at the bottom, then click on Service button (don't click on PR button), then select the service numbers line times in the next screen.

Ya i tried service number line ,But a message is displayed like "Service can not be empty"

Service package for the service activity cannot be empty

select the External activity, click on Detail button at the bottom

I didnt find detail button in cj20n can u elaborate please
