Hi,
I am trying to plot a X-Y graph using business graphics. On the X-axis I am plotting date and on the Y-axis some value. The Chart type has been set as scatter.
I want to plot the following points on the graph
(28/01/2004,1234),(28/02/2004,345),(28/03/2004,321),(01/04/2004,567)....
Type for X and Y axis have been set as String.
On the X-axis for the date field the value being displayed is 28000000 instead of 28012004.So the first three points are being plotted on the same X co-ordinate but different Y co-ordinates.
Also if the type of the X axis is changed to date no graph is displayed at all.
I am not able to figure out why the complete date is not taken on the X-axis and the plotting of the graph done accordingly.
Could anyone help me out with this.
Regards,
Yogeshwari Agashe.

Hello Yogeshwari,
Did you specify the Date format on X -axis as dd/mm/yyyy. Let me know if it works.
Thanks,

Hi,
you should use a TimeScatter chart. Using this chart type a point needs a value of valueType y and time (not x!).
