User provisioning in CUP 5.3 and user comparison / adjustment

Hi,

As you alreasy know, when assigning roles to users, an activity of user comparison or user adjust need to be performed in order to the users to get properly assigned all the authorizations coming from the roles.

When providing user provisioning by using CUP, how do you manage this? Is it an additional and manual task that still needs to be done?

Hi Imanol,

I think that CUP code automatically take care of user comparison task. No manual activity is not required.

There is a configuration for this. If you go to configuration -> workflow -> Auto Provisioning and scroll to the bottom, you will see 'Provisioning - Role Assignment' panel. If the 'Provision Effective Immediately' is set to 'Yes', CUP will take care of runing user comparion in the SAP system.
