Hi All,
I have given the forecast horizon till 31.12.2010 but when I run the univariate forecast I cansee the forecasted data only till P 02.2011 i.e. second period.
Why so ?
Thanks a lot
Prabhat
Hi
Please go T-code /SAPAPO/MC96B - Maintain Forecast Profiles
Select the respective Planning area and Master forecast profile which you are using background model press enter.
There we can see the Forecast Horizon , you require to check if it has mentioned correct till end of you your planning period in data view.
Thanks
Amol

Hi Prabhat,
The only other expalnation I can think of, after all the previous comments, is to check whether or not your forecast model allows for full period forecasting. Some models require a certain number of periods to forecast into the future. This is particularly true if your data/model has seasonality and trend modeling.
Good luck,
Rodrigo

Hi
Please check the Forecasting profile which you are using for execute the forecasting.
We also require to maintain the periods in backword for which system should look sales history and also forward buckets for which it should do forecasting.
It might be if we have mismatch there.

Hi Amol,
I have given the date in from and to field in forecast profile.
for historical data - it is 6 months data
for forecasting - it is till 31.12.2011 but I get forecast only till P 02.2011.
I have not given any period or offset in the forecast profile.
FYI - My planning is happening based on Periods ,I am using fiscal variant.
Rgds,
Prabhat
Hi Prabhat,
Check whether historical data is available and transferred into the
cubes during planning. Check any inconsistencies of timeseries
data.
