Hi Experts,

The user try to close one activity, but when he try to save project . he got error message :

Activity / Elem. XXXXXXX XXXX carries act. values; you cannot change bus. area

The activity mentioned in error messae is not the one use try to close, and no one change the bus. area.

who knows why ? and how to solve ?

I tried to find a relevant note corresponding to your error message, but i didnt find anything.

Which release of SAP you have?

once the actual cost are posted to activity, the business area will be greyed out, so there is no chance of chaning it. Also try to close thea activity in CN22 if you are using CJ20N and see what happens.

our SAP version : ECC 6.0

it is strange for us too. as the user try to close the actiivty A, but when he save project, he got the error message related activity B. I checked activity B , it is greyed on the business area field.
