Hi Experts,
I'm going to install SAP on RHEL. So I looked at the online-shop at redhat and found a normal "Redhat Enterprise Linux Server Edition" and a special edition for SAP.
The differences I found are a higher Support contract, a SAP channel on top and of course the price.
Redhat Enterprise Linux Server : 282,- EUR
Redhat Enterprise Linux Server for SAP : 2021,- EUR
Can somebody give me some advice ? Which Edition do I need ?
Thanks in advance
regards
Dirk

Check RHEL5 note 1048303 for special information. The SAP ones comes with JVM support (note 1069443) or adapted sort order for Non-Unicode environments (note 1069443) for example ...
