I have visual studio 2005 installed.

I am trying to install the sapdotnet setup for 2.0

It gives me the following

you must first install visual studio.net 7.1 IDE

any workaround?

Hello Janice,

you might also think about using another tool: http://www.erpconnect.net/EC_EN/

It supports all .net version and offers many more features than the .NET Connector.

Kind regards,

Patrick

Then try

Home -> (in the tree left) SAP NetWeaver -> Platform and Operations -> .NET Interoperability.

You see the link to the document "Using SAP Connector for MS .NET (NCO) in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005" on the page.

Visual Studio 2005 will support .net connector runtime only. It will not support design time. You should have Visual Studio 2003 to build proxy (.wsdl) and import into Visual Studio 2005.

Thanks & Regards,

Govind.
