Temporary App Deployment w/o WebConsole

Former Member

Hi MI fans,

I only have the MI client ready at the moment. The MW is not yet ready

(still have to be configured). Is there a way to temporarily deploy MI

application? I am planning of creating my MI app before I have a MW access...

Should I really need a running MW and MI WebConsole just to deploy my application

which is still under development?

Any tips are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Maverick

hello maverick,

are you using MI2.5 Tomcat runtim SP9 later?

if you are, i have a local deployer based on JSP which will

temporarily deploy your application to your MI client.

however i only tested it SP14 and SP15... SP level matters

because it uses some implementation classes to simulate

the deployment process.

i am actually writing a blog on it... having a national

holiday on monday, i can post it the earliest on sunday.

just don't know if you can wait

if you are using awt runtime, i still dont have it, but

will surely create one if necessary...

i have created a placeholder page for this article on this

site. i have put a screenshot of it just to give you an idea how it looks like...

and will be following this up on blogspot for feedbacks

and comments...
