Fatal error: No Visual Composer Server was found at specified address....

After applied SP8 (NW2004s) when I launch the VC I get

the following fatal error when the VC is loading: No Visual Composer Server was found at specified address....

(Error reading server parameters in

url:/VC/servlet/GenericChannel?SERVICE=GetServerData)

I followed the troubleshooting section of the configuration guide, I redeployed the VisualComposerServerEar04 using the SDM, but I still get the same error...

Has anybody any cue to fix the problem??? or where I can get more information???

In SP7 the VC worked fine, but it was version 6.45...

When you specify the URL, make sure "VC" is capitalized.

http://<server>:<port>/VC is correct.

http://<server>:<port>/vc is incorrect.

You shouldn't deploy VisualComposerServerEar04 manually as that is for VC 6.0. For SP8, you should use the JSPM to deploy the 6 VC files. After you deploy, go into the Visual Administrator and check that the VC Server is on in the Services -> Deploy -> Application area.

I checked it and VC applications were on.
