update the CIM data in the SLD

Hi All,

We have to update CIM data in SLD to add portal system with SLD.

Can any one guide me what are the impacts on existing interfaces in SAP-PI after changing CIM data in SLD?

Hi Rohan,

As long as you perform a backup and export in the SLD of your existing CIM data you should be fine.

There should be no effect on your current interfaces as the CIM data is delivered by SAP.

To be extra safe you could backup, export and update the CIM in a test system and test a number of you interfaces.
