XI to XI file communication

Hi All,

We need to send some files from our system to our partners systems. We have XI server, thay do have a XI server.

1. Is there any way i can send a file from

Our Business system==> Our XI Server ==>Partnets XI server==> Partners Business System?

We dont want to dump the files on their XI server and let their XI server read those.

2. Can i use XI adapter for communication between XI servers. (File==>XI==>XI==>File)

Among other solutions, you could try either using Receiver FTP Adapter -> Sender FTP Adapter or exchanging Soap messages (which would be a little more complicated).

Hi,

There are many ways to achieve this..

1) File>XI>HTTP>XI>File

2) File>XI>SOAP>XI>File

Also you can try by-passing one of the XI server.

Can you elaborate more? Can't i use XI adapter?

I can not by pass the XI server, since we have some security issues.
