Access SAP from IPad

Hi,

We have a requirement to access SAP from IPad using SAP Logon.

I know there are iTunes available "SAPPLAPP" to use it, but I would like to understand the network and security aspect of it to access SAP from IPad?

If you can share your experience or thoughts on Network and security aspect, so that we can easily access SAP from IPad, it will be very helpfull.

I would use the VPN option on iPad/iPhone. Password protected. HTTPS option of SAPPLAPP. Also password required on the device. That seems pretty secure don't you think.

It seems to be a good approach considering through VPN connectivity and with HTTPS option, it is secure enought to access SAP from IPad.
