SNP Optimizer

Dear All,

I have a scenario where i can produce One material on six resources. But I have constraint that i have only three dies which can be used on any resource to produce the material. Now if i run optimizer without considering the constraint (Die) then optimizer can create planned order on all these six resources. But if optimizer considers the Die as a constraint then it will create planned order on any three resources. I have created Six resources in APO as multimixed resoureces. For Die i have not defined any resources.

My query is how can i map the Die(Constraint) in SNP Optimizer such that i get the planned order only on three resources.

Hi,

Your Die is more like a PRT (Production Resource Tool) , and not a resource.

PRT scheduling and capacity planning is little different scenario and not fully supported in APO ( to my understanding).

Hi Datta,

In ECC, Die is treated as PRT. But in APO how we can map the same either in SNP or PPDS.
