Bandwidth definition for accessing DMS documents is pretty much subjective on your implementation scenario. Propose you do the math,as under/over network sizing have associated repercussions.
Several factors need to be considered to arrive at an estimate. Primarily, you need to capture information along lines as areas/geographies of document access,DMS user-base, nature of activity that they intend to perform(process docs/only view),average file size,docment categories,upload volume,growth rate et-al.Once these figures are clear, then you evaluate the availabe bandwidth at these locations and scale accordingly in conjunction with your network administrator.

Hi Kanna,
2.4 / 5 MBPS is sufficieint for SAP DMS. Also if you want to use dms at various locations without cache server then you need same bandwidth at all locations. Otherwise,you have to install cache servers at respective locations.
