Basic question:
what is bin section ? what advantge does it offers ?
Bin sections work if you want to store say 6 boxes of the same thing in a bin but you want to see them seperately so your bin becomes
BIN001/1 BIN001/2 BIN001/3 etc
This makes picking easier as for example if you had 6 boxes of material with the same number batch etc and there was 10 in a box you would have 60 in the bin, with bin sectioning you will have 6X10
I have used it before in a Paint warehouse for large tins (20 gallons) and I could get 6 on a pallet so I divided the bins in to 6 sections.
It also means that the system does not try to find 6 bins for these and they can all go in to one
I hope that this helps
