in SM21 ::Status: 90% of PAGFIL01 is in use

Hello All,

In our Productions systems in sm21 we are getting below alerts on frequently

SM21:

Status: 80% of PAGFIL01 is in use

Status: 90% of PAGFIL01 is in use

Documentation for system log message P0 9 :

If this utilization degree is reached frequently, you should increase

the maximum size of the file concerned in the SAP profile:

for the paging file: rdisp/PG_MAXFS

for the roll file: rdisp/ROLL_MAXFS

This message is repeated only if in the meantime the utilization degree

falls below 80%.

How to find current status of the pagefile at OS level or R3 level...........?

Help me on this please............

Hi，

You can check the paging used in SAP side with TA ST02 -> paging area

Usually, the solution is to increase the page size(rdisp/PG_MAXFS and rdisp/PG_SHM) if you have free disk space.
