TDMS Shell Creation

Hi,

I am trying to create a system shell using SAP TDMS. Our source is a ERP6.0 EHP1 system, the controller is a solution Manager system, i have installed TDMS components on both systems with latest support packs.

Here is what i have done so far as per the operations document.

1. Set up RFC's with a user with all appropriate authorizations + SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW

2. Complete all pre-requisites for System copy. SAPINST Preparation Steps.

3. Create Control File : r3ldctl -l -p

4. In the define environment options, i completed first few steps, Modify control Files with Exclude Table information gave an error. here is the error in the log

Activity 'Modify Control Files with Exclude Table Informat' started on 15.09.2010 at 12:50:14 by user TDMS_ADMIN

// Permission denied

Activity 'Modify Control Files with Exclude Table Informat' was completed on 15.09.2010 at 12:50:15 with status ERR

Any help wouldbe greatly helpful

Dear Yogesh,

Please check if you have following Roles in your system:

SAP_DMIS_MASTER

o SAP_TDMS_MASTER

o SAP_TDMS_PROJECT_LEAD_USER

o SAP_TDMS_SUBPROJECT_LEAD_USER

o SAP_TDMS_PACKAGE_LEAD_USER

o SAP_TDMS_USER

o SAP_TDMS_DISPLAY_USER

o SAP_TDMS_ACTGROUP_ADMIN

o SAP_TDMS_ACTGROUP_DISPLAY_USER

o SAP_TDMS_ACTGROUP_EXEC

With insalltion you get the above roles and you have to apply them as per the security Guide for TDMS from service marketplace from the below link.
