TREX Installation

Hello,

We have a requirement for SES (Search Engine Service). This SES should be linked to ERP2005 system.

We have ERP2005 ABAP & JAVA stack System running on WINDOWS 2003 server.

When I have gone thru the pre-requisites for SES, I have found that we need TREX engine.

What are the software media's do I need to insta TREX?

Where can I download the PYTHON software and what version?

Please let me know the configuration details

Can I install the TREX on the same ERP2005 system?

Does TREX requires a database?

Hi Srinikesh

Yes u may install trex 7.0 on same ERP2005 server as part of application server if u want to use SES (Search Engine Service)

download the following document for installing trex.

s-userid password required.

Python 2.4 required which is comes with the trex installation cd.
