Hello,
Does anyone have any experience with LC installed on AIX 6.1 with Active Memory Expansion ? Will it work?
Thanks,
Nainesh

Databases ususually allocated shared memory segments for their buffers during startup, this is the same with MaxDB/Livecache. The parameters (CacheSize) are not changable during runtime, so no, this does not work.
DB2/LUW is AFAIK the only database system that allows memory configuration changes without a restart.
