Hello
I am trying to install SAP Gateway on our NW 7.0 SR3 Unicode system but installer does not recognise my kernel CDs. I am using Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 x64, using Kernel CD 51033508_15, I selected subfolder LABEL.ASC files too but no. It says "You entered: I:\Install\51033508_15_UC_Kernel_Win_x64\NW_7.0_SR3_Kernel_WINDOWS__LNX_X86\KU_WINDOWS_X86_64 Found the label SAP:AKK:700:UKERNEL:SAP Unicode Kernel 700:WINDOWS_X86_64:CD51030xxx but need the label SAP:AKK:700:KERNEL::WINDOWS_X86_64:" and from main folder "You entered: I:\Install\51033508_15_UC_Kernel_Win_x64\NW_7.0_SR3_Kernel_WINDOWS__LNX_X86\ Found the label SAP:AKK:700:DVD_KERNEL:SAP Kernel 700:D51033508 but need the label SAP:AKK:700:KERNEL::WINDOWS_X86_64:"
I redownloaded SR3 Kernel from SAP Service Download Center but still same. I manually changed LABEL.ASC content into SAP:AKK:700:KERNEL::WINDOWS_X86_64:. It passed first two steps (Initialize and create OS user) but it fails at install stage.
Where can I find correct package and finish my gateway installation?

Hi Kaan
You can not cheat the sapinster by modifying the LABEL manually.
From the error, it seems you are installing a non-Unicode code system, but you mouted the Unicode kernel CD:
Found the label SAP:AKK:700:UKERNEL:SAP Unicode Kernel 700:WINDOWS_X86_64:CD51030xxx ==> Unicode
need the label SAP:AKK:700:KERNEL::WINDOWS_X86_64:" and from main folder === > Non-Unicode
So please make sure which one you want, and if you do need the non-unicode, it should be this CD:
51033508_7 - NW 7.0 SR3 Kernel 7.00 Windows Server on x64 64bit
Thanks and best regards,
Thunder
