CTS+ and CHARM configuration in PI 7.11 (SPS04) and SolMan

We the following new systems in our landscape:

Solution Manager 7.01

PI 7.11 (SPS04)

I would like to setup CTS+ to work via Solution Manager as the domain controller (as it will also be used for ECC, APO transports), in addition we would like to integrate this with Solution Manager's CHARM process.

Is there a single docuemnt which explains how to setup CTS+ in PI7.11 (I have seen so many versions in help.sap.com, SDN etc.) I am not sure which is the most relevant,

But is there one single PDF that has all relevant steps to set up CTS+ and CHARM?

I have also seen CM services mentioned, but I think that these are more useful for CE developments. We're only doing PI development work here via CTS, so I'm just interested to know if the CTS and CHARM config that I've been pursuing is the correct route.
