SAP Gui Not Connected from SAP Gui

Former Member

Dear Experts,

We are running SAP 4.7 ext 200 on Oracle.

Problem is that we are not able to connect SAP from SAP GUI. Actually we got a small disaster on our storage which is resolved, our Production is running fine now.

On Development through telnet I am able to startsap cleanly without error but its not connecting from SAPgui saying

Partner <IP>:sapdp00 not reached--Connection refused.

IP address is same which is being used to startsap through telnet. I am not seeing any obvious error dusing SAP start. Kindly tell me the reason of this. I will be very grateful

Regards

Waqas

Check for IP address Hostname entry in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.

You can error information from Developer trace.

Hi ,

make sure you use super user with all the priviliges assigned.

Check oracle Listner control started (lsnrctl).

From suer, sidadm run R3trans -d

Check SAPNote 403004 ,if R3trans not connecting.

Also check Environment variable properly set.
